課程概述 |
本課程將介紹目前主要之固態照明技術,尤其針對發光二極體做詳細而完整的說明。教學內容包括半導體發光二極體的發光原理、氮化鎵材料、螢光粉、白光發光二極體、發光二極體封裝技術以及高功率發光二極體等等。另外,針對發光二極體在照明上的不同應用,以及目前發光二極體製作上的設計原則,將是課堂上討論的重點。最後,我們會根據一些色彩學上的基本原理,探討次世代的照明技術。
In this course, the technology development of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and solid state lighting (SSL) will be discussed. Students are expected to understand working mechanisms of a monochromatic LED/white LED, phosphors, packaging of LEDs, basic color science and how LEDs can be utilized into different applications. At the same time, the current design issues on high-brightness LEDs and high-power LEDs, such as heat-dissipation and optical design will be discussed. Finally, illumination design based on solid state devices will be discussed. |
